Arsenal players did not accept the club’s anti-crisis program, due to the coronavirus pandemic, “Mirror” reports.

According to a source, the management of the London club proposed a reduction of the players’ salaries by 12.5% in one year, if the team fails to find itself in the European cups at the end of the season.

In the event of entry into the Europa League, the salary reduction will be 7.5%. If Arsenal enter the Champions League, then the total amount will be returned to the players.

The proposal was handed over to Hector Bellerin, a representative of the Professional Footballers’ Association. However, the players responded negatively to it.
