Arsenal will face competition from Chelsea for highly-rated Nico Williams.
The Spanish winger has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea.
He has contributed to 15 goals and assists for Athletic Club so far in the 2023/24 season.
Williams has emerged as one of the top candidates for the Gunners who can provide competition and add cover for Bukayo Saka.
He has recently signed a new contract with 2027 but it is not known how much the young Spaniard would cost this summer.
The Gunners are closely monitoring Williams as Mikel Arteta is desperate to add a new winger in the summer.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirms Arsenal can accelerate their move in the summer alongside Chelsea.
Romano said: “Arsenal have also sent their scouts to follow Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao multiple times, and it’s the same for Chelsea as they included him in the list last summer,”
“The race is completely open, and nothing is advanced with either club so far. He’d be great in the Premier League, in my opinion – a physical and technical player, a very good one.”
