According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Arsenal is preparing an unexpected bid to capture Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman on a season-long loan. Senior journalist Pete O’Rourke revealed on the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast that Bayern will permit him to depart this summer, but that he will have to buy out any loan agreement.

The 28-year-old Coman is reportedly eager to join Arsenal this summer but would like guarantees regarding his playing time at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta wants to bolster the lineup before August 31st; therefore, Arsenal is keeping an eye on a number of wide forwards, including the winger. Clubs throughout Europe are currently keeping an eye on his circumstances in anticipation of a possible late move, having been made aware of his availability for loan.

Bayern Munich attacker is keen on Arsenal move in a major boost for Mikel Arteta

With only three weeks remaining in the transfer window, Arsenal hopes to extend its summertime acquisition activity. This summer, the Gunners completed the signing of Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori and signed Brentford’s David Raya on a permanent basis.

Coman is a seasoned player who frequently plays for both Bayern Munich and the France national team. The Gunners may benefit from his versatility as a player next season. He can provide pace in wide areas and play on both flanks. Prior to joining Bayern Munich, the winger played for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. Due to his ability to both create and finish opportunities, he has been given important positions at some of the world’s best clubs.
