In the latest round of transfer reports, Arsenal have drawn links with yet another teenage talent. The Gunners might be in the business of a complete rebuild in the future as they keep on targetting some of the most wanted prospects all over Europe.
They are currently viewing Red Bull Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai as the perfect long-term replacement for Aaron Ramsey. The Welshman’s departure for Juventus is due to leave a massive gap in the Gunners lineup which Unai Emery plans on plugging with this 18-year-old.
Szoboszlai started off the 2018/19 campaign with Salzburg’s feeder club, RB Leifering and his impressive performances earned him a call-up to the Austrian outfit in November.
He utilised this opportunity in full swing and struck the back of the net 5 times in 20 appearances. The midfielder’s talents got immediately noticed by top tier clubs like Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Szboszlai has also become an integral part of the Hungarian national team at such an young age. He was instrumental in all four of their Euro 2020 qualifiers.
His agent, Matyas Esterhazy revealed to the press earlier, “I can confirm a number of the top Premier League clubs are interested in Dominik but at this point, I can not confirm or deny specific clubs.
“My client is focusing on his current club and the upcoming challenges of the next season both in the league and the Champions League.”
The report claims that the youngster could be signed for anything between £9-15m.
