If reports from The Sun are to be believed, Arsenal are willing to extend the contracts of Pierre-Emerick Aubaeyang and Alexandre Lacazette. Both players are contracted to the club until 2021 and 2023 respectively.
However, the Gunners are willing for the players to accept massive bonuses in their new contracts, keeping their basic pay intact. The duo earns £180k per week at the Emirates and scored 50 goals between them last season.
The biggest bonus would be a qualification to the Champions League, which would see them pocket a massive £40m amount. Other bonuses also include winning the Europa League and the FA Cup and goals scored in a Premier League season.
Arsenal are willing to extend their contracts before they enter the final 18 months of their contract, in order to protect their resale values.
French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is also in line for a bumper new contract after impressing in his debut season at the club.
Arsenal are also said to be targetting a deal for Corinthians’ Brazilian full-back Fagner this summer.
