Ivan Toney’s omission from the Brentford team for Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace has been confirmed by manager Thomas Frank as the result of “a lot of transfer interest.” In the last year of his contract, Toney expressed his desire to depart the Bees, who are demanding £60 million for their lucky charm.
The 28-year-old has been strongly connected to leaving the west London club, and it’s been said that Manchester United and Arsenal are keeping an eye on him. Due to persistent rumours that Toney would depart the Bees this summer, Frank decided to leave him off the roster.
