The midfielder’s contract will expire this summer
Arsenal midfielder’s Jack Wilshere has been linked with a summer exit as he is yet to commit to a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. His contract will expire at the end of the season and likely to leave the club on a free transfer.
Wilshere, who has been at the club since 9, has made it clear that his preferred option is to stay at his boyhood club. Even Arsene Wenger has expressed his desire to keep him at the club beyond this season
The Gunners have offered him £90,000-a-week, which is a pay-cut on his current deal worth £110,000-a-week but is unhappy with the incentivised deal being offered.
The club have been in talks with him over fresh terms for past few months but they have yet to reach any agreement till now.
The 26 year old has been linked with host of clubs ahead of the transfer window as they are looking to take advantage of the situation and sign him on a free transfer. His representatives have already started started looking for potential suitors.
Jack Wilshere’s representatives have offered their client’s services to Paris Saint-Germain, l’Equipe claims. They have directly contacted club’s sports director Antero Henrique.
The World cup is approaching and the sides will be hoping to get all the deals done before the event begins. Ligue 1 giants are also expected to bolster their side this summer and will be looking to get the deals done as quickly as possible.
Thomas Tuchel will take over the charge of the French side next season and it is unlikely that he wants to sign Wilshere, according to reports.
