Sergej Milinković-Savić will see his contract expiring at the Italian club in the summer.
Arsenal are looking to sign some quality players ahead of the new season and according to Il Messaggero (via Lazio Press), the Gunners are still keen on recruiting Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić.
It has been reported that the North London club have already ‘tested the waters’ to recruit Serbian talent in the summer.
The 28-year-old is doing great at Lazio after putting in a series of decent performances for them at the centre of the park. He has scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances for the Italian club.
Serbia international will see his contract expiring at the Italian club in the summer. Arsenal would be wise to test Lazio’s resolve by making a cut-price offer for Milinkovic-Savic this summer.
The 28-year-old Serbian star is a good tackler of the ball and doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required. He can also make some timely interceptions for his side in the middle of the park and packs a lot of power with his shot attempts.
