Arsenal have taken on the idea of selling their players who are under a 2-year contract unless they plan on resigning an extension.

The North London outfit are looking to make amends for some of their recent mistakes, Aaron Ramsey’s departure to Juventus being the obvious one.

However, it was not too long ago when the club lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United and was forced to meet Mesut Ozil’s ridiculous wage demands, in turn, making him the highest paid player at the club by a significant margin.

Now, they are set to lose yet another midfielder who is in his prime for absolutely nothing.

Arsenal’s managing director, Vinai Venkatesham and director of football, Raul Sanllehi spoke candidly in a 90-minute fan forum, ahead of the Sunday win over Manchester United, alongside surprise guest, club director, Josh Kroenke.

Venkatesham and Sanllehi admitted to making inefficient decisions in the past and even revealed ways in which the club wants to handle their players from now on. The Gunners’ owner, Stan Kroenke has also assured the fans that winning silverware is the ultimate priority for the club.

However, Arsenal new strategy might concern some of the fans since quite a few first-team players are in the final 2 seasons of their contracts. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Shkodran Mustafi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ozil himself.
