The report claims that Mikel Arteta is giving priority to this goalkeeper. He was interviewed by the Spanish outlet. Raya says he is happy at his present club (Brentford) as the Bees impress on their promotion to the Premier League.
The former Blackburn shot-stopper says he just wants to have a good year with Bees and then everything else remains unknown.
He also gave some hints about his passion for playing a top club. He would gladly join Arsenal if they return for him.
“I’m happy at the club. I want to have a good season this year. We’ll see what happens in the summer. My ambitions are great, I’d like to play at the top. You always want to play for big clubs.” Raya told Cadena Ser.
