Arsenal are looking for reinforcements and have set their sights on Bayer Leverkusen’s right-back Jeremie Frimpong

Following key signings such as Kai Havertz and Declan Rice, the Gunners’ interest in Frimpong demonstrates their desire to return to the top of English football.

Frimpong, known for his blistering pace and precise crossing on the right wing, would be an excellent addition to Arsenal’s team. The North London club has demonstrated they are not afraid to spend big money, signing big names like Kai Havertz and Declan Rice for a combined sum of £170 million.

The chase of the Premier League title in 2024 is obviously on Arsenal’s agenda, and the club is putting together a squad to match those ambitions. The impending departure of Granit Xhaka to Leverkusen could be crucial as Arsenal seeks more reinforcements.

According to reports, the Gunners have agreed on a cost of £21.5 million for Xhaka, which might pave the way for Frimpong’s move to Arsenal. Despite the dependable presence of Ben White at right-back, Arteta is looking to add depth to his team. Along with Frimpong, Joao Cancelo and Benny Henrichs are on the radar.

Leverkusen, on the other hand, appears to be thinking beyond Frimpong. The German club just signed Brazilian international Arthur, indicating that they are willing to let Frimpong go. They are apparently asking €40 million for the 22-year-old, who has eight goals and seven assists in 34 league outings.
