Arsenal could make a move for another Brazilian in January after missing out the pursuit of Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
Gunners will plan a winter move for Danilo to boost their squad. Mohamed Elneny suffered an injury towards the end of the transfer window so the North London club would focus on signing a new midfielder.
Arsenal failed to bring in a new midfielder, but they did make a late attempt to sign Aston Villa midfielder Luiz.
As per the reports of the Express, Arsenal made three bids for the Brazilian, with the final offer totalling £25m. Arteta could switch his attention to another Brazilian in Palmeiras midfielder Danilo.
Arsenal did show an interest in Danilo this summer, but Palmeiras weren’t interested in selling him late in the transfer window. The Brazilian club may be keen to sell Danilo if the price is right in January.
Danilo is just 21 years old and he is regular in the Palmeiras side. He would be a good addition to Mikel Arteta’s setup.
