Arsenal are keen to sign either Mykhaylo Mudryk or Joao Felix in winter.
The winter transfer window is just around the corner and Arsenal are keen to build their squad for the second half of the season.
Transfer insider Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT, Arsenal could be in line for a busy transfer window with it being a “possibility” a striker ends up at the Emirates Stadium.
The North London club are fighting for the Premier League for the first time title since 2004. They sit top of the Premier League table with a five-point advantage over Man City.
Mikel Arteta’s side has won 12 out of 14 Premier League matches. They have also topped the Europa League group. Champions League qualification is almost assured as they would surely finish in the top four but a title after 18 years would be a happy thing for the club.
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is Arsenal’s primary target, but his signing depends on the budget. The 21-year-old is believed to be valued in excess of £85 million, according to The Athletic.
Jones previously spoke to GIVEMESPORT that Arsenal’s activity in the winter window could depend on how much Mudryk costs.
While talking to GMS, transfer insider Jones revealed the Gunners are considering pursuing a striker in the January window.
“Of course, there is a possibility Arsenal sign a striker.
“But they’re going to be cautious,” continued Jones.
“The message I keep getting from people around this is that it’s not a time to panic.”
Their summer signing Gabriel Jesus picked up a knee injury during national duty with Brazil and he is still recovering. Former Man City striker could face up to three months on the sidelines.
Another player who is on the radar is Joao Felix. He had a disappointing spell at Atletico Madrid and wants to find another club.
However, a report from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio in the Dutch outlet Soccernews, suggested the Portuguese international favoured a move to PSG ahead of the Gunners.
