As per the reports of Daily Star, Arsenal are planning a move for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling. The Premier League winger is on top of the transfer list and Gunners are keeping a close eye on him. Man City are eyeing to extend Sterling’s deal.
The 26-year-old is losing importance at Etihad. He made 28 starts in the Premier League last season. He played the majority of the matches during the first half of the campaign. Man City had so many options likes Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez so the winger couldn’t find the place in starting lineups.
The former Liverpool star had an impressive run in Euro 2020 but his struggle at Etihad continues. Man City winger has only started two games in the Premier League this season and found the net once. The contract for English international will expire in 2023.
If Raheem Sterling joins Gunners, it will be a big boost to the club. The winger adds a lot of tactical versatility. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta also worked with Sterling during his time at Manchester City.
