Arsenal has to shell out £21.6m to complete Sacha Boey transfer this summer.
The French defender has been impressive for the Turkish giants Galatasaray who are currently going through financial distress.
Mikel Arteta wants to add some full-backs this summer as Takehiro Tomiyasu has been out for most of the season with injuries.
The Gunners are keen to bolster their defensive options after they secured their place in the Champions League.
Boey has been one of the most consistent right-backs in the Turkish league and helped Galatasaray clinch the Super Lig title this season.
Ben White has been forced to play his unnatural right-back all season, so Arteta is keen to bring a suitable cover for the Englishman.
Boey is seemingly available at a reasonable price and Arsenal wouldn’t mind taking Galatasaray up on their price tag.
“For Boey at the moment, I’m just told that they are informed on the conditions of the deal, €25m [£21.5 million] price tag,” he said.
“I’m not aware of any direct contract between Arsenal and his agent in terms of negotiations, so at the moment it’s still a quiet situation.”
