According to reports from Sky Italy, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has agreed on a deal with Juventus. The Welshman will move to Turin in the summer following the expiration of his contract at Arsenal.
Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 and has since made 356 appearances for the club, scoring 62 goals and providing 64 assists.
This season, Ramsey has made 25 appearances so far, scoring three goals and providing 7 assists. Arsenal reportedly declined to offer Ramsey a contract extension and the Welshman will now move to Italy.
His deal will reportedly be final next week following Juve’s Supercoppa Italiana against AC Milan.
A move to Juventus can certainly guarantee Ramsey silverware, something he hasn’t laid hands on since winning the FA Cup in 2017.
Ramsey has had his contributions in Arsenal’s last two games. He scored a goal in the league game against Fulham while providing an assist against Blackpool. The 28-year old will hope to provide a good performance on Saturday when Arsenal take on West Ham.
