Mika Biereth wants to join Austrian Bundesliga with Sturm.
As per the current update of Sturm Graz sporting director Andreas Schicker, Arsenal want to sell Mika Biereth this summer as he is in the last year of his contract.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of 2023-24 on loan in the Austrian Bundesliga with Sturm. He netted nine goals and four assists in 22 appearances.
The Denmark youth international still didn’t make into the setup of Mikel Arteta and Arsenal. He is not in the future plan of Arsenal and he is likely to leave the club in summer.
Schicker speaks to Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung, “Mika is in the last year of his contract, the club wants to sell him. Now we need to find a solution with Arsenal.”
He joined Arsenal from Fulham as a youth player in July 2021 after scoring 21 goals in 21 games for their under-18s during his final season. He is yet to make the first apperance for Arsenal first-team.
Mika Biereth wants to join Sturm and will fancy his chances of securing a big move going forward if he keeps impressing.
