The Welshman announced to the club’s fans about the contract he signed with Juventus for the next 4 years. Other reports revealed that the central midfielder will be bagging £400,000 per week over the course of his stay at Turin.
Seaman has always been vocal about the Gunners’ incompetence in holding down a player well in his prime. He was greatly agitated to hear about the club’s limited funds for next season as well.
The 55-year-old told talkSPORT, “I’m still fuming at the fact we’re going to lose Ramsey. It gets even more frustrating with the fact they’ve announced Emery only has around £40million to spend in the summer.”
“That’s what you’d have to pay to get someone like Ramsey, probably a little bit more. It’s demoralising for me and I’m sure it’s even more demoralising for the fans to hear that and then to see quality players leaving the club.”
“It’s even more frustrating the fact that it’s for nothing, that’s why he’s getting so much money at Juventus. I just don’t get it, I don’t know what the forward thinking is. The fact that Emery gets one transfer window and he gets told he can only do loan deals, now we’re looking at the end of the season where he only has £40million to spend.”
