Arsenal are planning to make a strong bid for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer. They are willing to fork out a whopping €110m (£94m) to sign him.
The France international made a transfer move from Rennes in the summer of 2021. The 21-year-old has made a total of 132 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
Camavinga is a defensive midfielder and has also operated at a left-back. He extended his contract with Real Madrid in November last year. His contract will expire in June 2029.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez feels that Camavinga will soon develop into one of the best midfielders in world football. As per Spanish news outlet Defensa Central, Arsenal have stepped up in pursuit of the versatile midfielder.
The North London club are willing to pay up to €110m to sign Camavinga. Mikel Arteta is optimistic to get him on board this summer. Everything depends on how Ancelotti considers him in the midfield section.
Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny may leave Arsenal at the end of the season. Arteta wants to bring Camavinga at the Emirates. Partey already lost his regular starting place, and Elneny is out of contract at the end of the season.
