According to sources, Arsenal may try to buy Real Madrid winger Rodrygo in the upcoming transfer window. The Gunners are eager to add a loanee to their team, and an ambitious bid for the Brazilian is planned.

Arsenal’s Premier League campaign got off to a strong start on Sunday with their first victory of the year, but they still have 37 games left, and in that time, quality wins games. They are thus searching for more stars, and Rodrygo may be the answer.

TBR Football reports that after spending money on Chelsea’s Noni Madueke and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres earlier in the transfer window, Arsenal would now want to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid this summer, but only on a loan.

In any case, the Gunners are still looking for a left-winger, and because they have already spent a lot of money, they could try to sign the Los Blancos star on a short-term basis.

Arsenal’s plan to sign £207k-a-week star on loan

CaughtOffside claims that Berta has been working on Arsenal’s intention to sign Rodrygo on loan with a buyout option this transfer window. But for the time being, that idea has been shelved until they decide what to do with Trossard or find a buyer for the 30-year-old.

They may revisit this if something comes up with Trossard, although City, PSG, and Al-Nassr are also showing interest in the £207,000-per-week star in the late summer.

Rodrygo’s goal is to remain in Europe, but Arsenal’s move may be influenced by Savinho’s transfer to Tottenham. Pep Guardiola’s team is prepared to pay an incredible £86 million (with add-ons) for the 24-year-old if their winger does wind up joining Spurs.

He would be the icing on the cake for Arsenal, who have already had a fantastic summer. Jude Bellingham has described Rodrygo as Real Madrid’s most brilliant and skilled player, yet his 14 goals and 11 goals in all competitions for Los Blancos last season only tell half the story.
