Arsenal are preparing for a squad overhaul this summer, with forward Leandro Trossard reportedly among the players set to depart.
Leandro Trossard Set for Arsenal Exit Amid Contract Standoff

According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, the Gunners are actively looking to offload several players, including Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, and Trossard, as they aim to balance the squad and raise funds for new signings.
While Nelson and Vieira’s potential exits have been widely speculated—with Fulham and Stuttgart in talks for the duo—Trossard’s situation has come as a surprise.
The Belgian forward, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023, had been a key squad player under Mikel Arteta. However, contract extension talks have stalled, signaling a possible exit.
Mokbel previously revealed that negotiations over a new deal had failed to progress, leaving Trossard’s future uncertain.
Despite initial positive discussions, the 29-year-old has not signed the offered extension, suggesting he may be considering other opportunities.
Trossard is currently recovering from a minor groin injury sustained during Arsenal’s pre-season clash against Tottenham. Arteta confirmed the issue is not serious, stating, “He should be fine in a few days.”
The forward could still feature in Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Manchester United, but his long-term future at the club appears doubtful.
With Arsenal targeting Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze as a potential attacking reinforcement, Trossard’s departure could pave the way for fresh talent.
As the transfer window heats up, the Gunners will aim to finalize outgoings swiftly to reshape their squad for the upcoming season.
For now, Trossard remains an Arsenal player, but the coming weeks could see him embark on a new challenge elsewhere.
