Nketiah, an Arsenal striker, has “been working hard” to replace Jesus

As has been widely reported, Arsenal’s Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus underwent surgery after suffering a serious injury at the FIFA World Cup competition in Dubai. However, Mikel Arteta must undoubtedly think about his options with their star striker expected to miss the next three months or so of action.

Martinelli would seem to be Arteta’s preferred choice, but there have been rumours of the young Ukrainian midfielder Mykhalo Mudryk being signed by Arsenal; however, nothing official has been announced by Arsenal as of yet.

Nketiah, an Arsenal player since the age of 16, scored 24 goals in each of his first two seasons with the youth team before being promoted to the main team at the age of 18. According to Arsenal, he is: Fast, hard-working, and has outstanding movement.

Nketiah has appeared in 19 games for Arsenal so far this season. He has started all of Arsenal’s Europa League and Carabao Cup games while also making 12 Premier League substitutions. Although he has three goals and an assist this season in cup games, he has yet to find his footing in the league. Could this be his best chance yet?

Arsenal is getting ready to resume Premier League play in the upcoming weeks, so it will be interesting to see what Arteta does.
