Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal can fight for the title this term.
The club’s most successful manager Arsene Wenger has backed his former side to challenge for the title this campaign.
He admires the job that Mikel Arteta has done for the club and claims Arsenal could challenge the league crown this year.
The Gunners are sitting at the top of the league table with 15 points in six games.
“I would say they are moving in the right direction,” Wenger was quoted saying by The Mirror.
“I honestly think there is no weak position in the team… they are young, promising players and they have bought well this year.
“There is no completely dominating team this season and Arsenal has a chance with the potential that is there.
“We used to be in the top four and why not again? You cannot even rule out the fact that they can fight for the title and hopefully, they can do it.”
