Arsene Wenger Finally Returns To Football

Arsene Wenger has been named FIFA’s chief of global football development after strong links to Bayern Munich job.

The Professor has been out of a job since leaving his managerial post at Arsenal.

Many Gunners fans feared Wenger would take up the Bavarians position, the team that beat them 10-2 in the Champions League two years back.

Wenger left the Emirates after coaching Arsenal for 22 years. He became their longest-serving and most successful manager in the club’s history. After taking a year-long sabbatical from work, he started to make appearances on TV as a pundit.

Now, he is the “leading authority on technical matters, as a member of the Football and Technical Advisory Panels involved in IFAB’s review and decision-making process on potential changes to the Laws of the Game.”

Charlie Nicholas earlier suggested that Wenger should be brought back to Arsenal to assist Unai Emery from the technical director post. The Gunners are currently in torrid form and struggling to win games against any opposition.

Emery has not addressed any of the budding issues that Wenger left behind and has instead completely demolished the offensive threat that Arsenal once had under the Frenchman.

The pressure is mounting on Emery and names are constantly getting linked as his replacements. But one thing is for sure, ‘Le Professeur’ will not be called back to save Arsenal during these trying times.
