Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels the Gunners will be missing the service of Aaron Ramsey.
The midfielder recently put pen to paper to a lucrative contract with Juventus and will join the Italian champions once the season ends. The Wales international looked pretty certain to extend his association with the club beyond this season.
The club hierarchy also was pleased with his involvement and had hoped to negotiate new terms. But the North Londoners withdrew their initial contract offer and Ramsey then went onto seal his move to the Italian club.
Unai Emery doesn’t seem to be an admirer of the player and has been using him in a more advanced role rather than his usual box to box position. Wenger who brought in the distinguished midfielder believes Arsenal are going to miss him pretty severely.
“It will be a loss for Arsenal,
“I must say it will be an interesting move for Ramsey. He is a player who is great going forward.
“His main quality is he can keep the final ball. And he makes interesting runs from deep.
“You don’t find many players today who can make midfield runs off the ball. It will be an interesting addition for Juventus.”
