Arsenal head Mikel Arteta is keeping an eye on Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon. According to Todofichajes, Arteta is keen to add Isco to his Gunners squad and sees the struggling Spaniard as the midfielder to strengthen his “core”.
The Spaniard is planning to leave the Spanish capital after playing few seasons for Los Blancos.
The report also adds Alarcon can leave Real Madrid in the January transfer window and manager Arteta need him at Gunners.
Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard as a midfielder in the summer but his form remains a concern this season. Isco would be a potential replacement for Odegaard.
It would be interesting to see how Isco performs at Premier League if he joins Arsenal. Isco Alarcon has made six appearances in La Liga and scored just one goal.
