Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur striker and captain has been called upon by the rival boss Mikel Arteta.
And Arteta pretty much took a dig at Tottenham Hotspur never having won the Premier League title – inspite of having such a fine striker at hand like Harry Kane.
“Harry Kane has scored 30 goals and never won the Premier League, you know,” Arteta said.
“There are a lot of good examples of players that do phenomenally, but unfortunately there are a lot of top teams in this country and only one wins the League. So you can’t have everything in life.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal is struggling to get a hold on their captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He is reportedly seen to be interested in leaving the Gunners by the end of his contract – which is next season – and additionally, several big clubs, including Spanish giants Barcelona, are interested in the Gunners captain.
Mikel Arteta knows how important he is, especially after the 3-2 Everton win on Sunday, and has hailed him as a crucial part of what makes Arsenal – well, Arsenal.
Arteta added about Aubameyang: ‘So as much as I can and the club can, we will try to convince him to stay with us.’
