Arsenal extended the contract of their manager Mikel Arteta who has given more values to the club in past years. The Spaniard will now play three more seasons and eye Premier League glory. He has shared what keeps him excited about working at the Emirates.
The 42-year-old is now considered one of the best managers in England. He had tough years at Arsenal but he delivered his best version in past two years.
Arsenal started to play regular Champions League football now. They are now competing in the Premier League title race. The Gunners came close to win the trophy twice in last two season but missed out in final phase.
Mikel Arteta’s side are currently the second best team in the Premier League. Club wanted to renew his contract and they added three more years to his deal.
Following the contract extension, Arteta was asked what excites him most about working at Arsenal. He told the club media: “The people and the ambition of the club. I feel extremely lucky to work every single day with the good people that we have in the organisation.
“I start with my coaching staff, they are relentless in supporting me, challenging me, inspiring me, giving me ideas, and making me a better coach and a better person every single day.”
