Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says that he prefers playing Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final than playing Chelsea.

The possibility of the first all-English Europa League final since the inaugural Europa League final (then known as the UEFA Cup) is very high. Arsenal beat Valencia 3-1 at home while Chelsea drew 1-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt at Frankfurt.

Arsenal faced Chelsea twice this season, winning 2-0 at the Emirates in February while losing 3-2 at Stamford Bridge back in August.

Aubameyang said that since Arsenal have already faced Chelsea in the Premier League, he wants to face a new opponent in Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Gabon international said, “I don’t want them. We know they’re a great team but hopefully first we will go to the final and then I prefer to play Frankfurt because we’ve already played against Chelsea [in the Premier League]. I know Frankfurt are really good and, if we both go through to the final, it will be a hard one.”

Aubameyang scored his 25th goal of the season against Valencia after appearing as a substitute. The Gabonese striker will hope to produce a strong performance in their next game.
