Aubameyang has now decided to step in after one Marseille fan sent him a message regarding Nketiah.
The former Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants his ex-teammate to join Marseille ahead of the new season. Eddie Nketiah is likely to leave the club and the Gunners want to offload him.
Aubameyang told him to join the French club this summer. The ex-Arsenal star is leaving Marseille due to his links with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah.
As pe reports, Nketiah will replace Aubameyang and he has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 team. Both clubs have been unable to agree on a price.
Aubameyang has now decided to step in after one Marseille fan sent him a message on social media. The fan posted on social media hoping to see the Englishman swap Arsenal for southern France. He wrote, ‘Tell Nketiah to come to OM (Olympique Marseille).’
‘Already done,’ Aubameyang replied, with Les Phoceens fans now left hoping that they will indeed wrap up a deal for the 25-year-old.
Eddie Nketiah has played a total of 168 games for the Gunners, scoring 38 goals and seven assists. He will push for the new challenges as he was not in the first-team under Mikel Arteta.
