Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is a subject of interest for Barcelona, Juventus and PSG.
According to the latest reports, Barca and Arsenal have even begun talks over a transfer.
Technical Director, Edu has notified all interested parties to pay up Arsenal’s demands which is around £35m. The Gunners are not opposed to selling Bellerin if their price tag is met.
Bellerin is still an important part of Mikel Arteta’s squad and Arsenal are in the driving seat for his sale. His transfer will only help Arsenal raise funds for the signing of either Thomas Partey or Houssem Auoar. Lyon’s Sporting Director, Juninho confirmed Arsenal’s approach for their number eight.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19, Arsenal don’t have much left in the coffers and is forced to rely on player sales for any incomings this summer. A number of players could be offloaded for a fair deal but even selling is proving to be a tough task. Other clubs are not willing to pay full value upfront and are hedging more towards free deals or loan moves.
Bellerin’s sale would not go down as a popular move but it will be justified if Arsenal went out and got Thomas Partey. The Atletico Madrid midfielder has a £45m release clause which the Gunners might be able to activate after the sale.
