Zinchenko was an unused substitute in three of Arsenal’s final four matches of the 2023-24 Premier League season.
Bayern Munich are planning to make a summer move for the talented Arsenal defender, Oleksandr Zinchenko. German giants are keeping a close eye on 27-year-old.
The Gunners left-back made an arrival from Manchester City in the summer of 2022. Zinchenko has been replaced by Kieran Tierney in the backline. However, the Scotsman has struggled with injuries during his Arsenal career.
The Ukraine international was excellent in his debut season and helped Arsenal to fight out for the Premier League title. He has now lost his status as a regular starter.
Zinchenko fell below Takehiro Tomiyasu in the final stages of the season and is also facing left-back competition from Jakub Kiwior and Jurrien Timber.
The 27-year-old was an unused substitute in three of Arsenal’s final four matches of the 2023-24 Premier League season. He still has two years left to run on his contract at the Emirates.
Arsenal are not believed to be planning talks over a renewal at this stage. According to the Mirror, the Bundesliga giants are monitoring developments closely after Vincent Kompany became their new head coach.
The Canada international will not extend his deal beyond the end of the 2024-25 season. He has two goals and four assists from 68 matches across all competitions.
