Bayern Munich set to sign Aaron Ramsey

According to reports, Bayern Munich are close to signing Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey’s current contract runs out at the end of the summer and Arsenal are not willing to renew his contract. Hence, Ramsey will become a free agent in the summer of 2019.

Several clubs showed interest in signing Ramsey. These included Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea. However, Bayern have been the front-runner to sign the Welsh midfielder and are very close to signing him now.

Bayern Munich can officially start negotiations with Arsenal about Ramsey in January.

Ramsey has done well for Arsenal this season so far. He has made 16 appearances across all competitions, scoring a goal and registering 4 assists.

Bayern Munich’s midfield has talents like Leon Goretzka and Thiago Alcantara. However, the addition of an experienced campaigner like Aaron Ramsey will certainly bolster their midfield.
