Hector Bellerin is still in negotiations with Arsenal over the termination of his contract, amid various complications regarding his exit
Even if the transfer window closes in a week, Hector Bellerin’s future remains unknown.
Talks with Arsenal about a possible contract termination are underway, although Real Betis and Barcelona are also experiencing financial issues.
Barcelona has struggled to sign players throughout the transfer season, but whether they can fit Bellerin inside their budgetary constraints remains to be seen.
Real Betis made less than £2 million in sales this summer, therefore they don’t have much money to spend either.
Despite other offers, Bellerin is said to want to return to Spain with one of his two old teams. This is consistent with reports from the nation, with Estadio Deportivo reporting that Bellerin has turned down Udinese.
According to James Olley, Bellerin’s departure may now be imminent.
According to the Evening Standard, Bellerin’s desired destination remains a return to Real Betis.
After spending the previous season on loan with Betis, the right-back hopes to return to the La Liga club permanently. However, no agreement has been reached between Betis and Arsenal at this time.
