Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik has delivered some important news on his Emirates future.
The young star played out on loan at Charlton last season helping the team secure a promotion to the Championships. Now that the season is over, Charlton has confirmed that Bielik has returned to Arsenal for the pre-season.
Bielik himself wants to train with the first team and see how he fits in but he has confirmed that he will not be heading back to the u-23 squad at Arsenal as he considers himself a senior player in the team now.
“My future is unknown but there is one thing I can say for sure: I will definitely not go back to Arsenal U23 team,” Bielik said (via Arseblog).
“At this stage, it wouldn’t make sense. If I do not receive the possibility to join the first team permanently, I will have to look for other solutions.
“I feel like a senior player now so I want to play senior football. This is, however, not the right moment to discuss these issues as I want to be 100% focused on the European Championships.”
Arsenal will surely have their task cutting out in fitting in a decent new squad for the next season.
