Arsenal attacker Reiss Nelson is on the radar of Brighton and they might offer him a new deal during the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old was heavily linked with the Seagulls since last summer.
Nelson decided to stay at Emirates and signed a new contract with a new four-year deal, which includes the option for another 12 months. He was handed his renewal on the back of a heroic display against Bournemouth where he provided an assist for Ben White and scored an injury-time winner.
The former England youth international won the Premier League’s Game Changer of the Season prize. He recently scored twice in a 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest after coming off the bench.
As per the reports of TEAMtalk, he is now open to make a departure from Arsenal. Brighton have already made contact with his representatives ahead of the summer window.
Arsenal would be open to selling their academy product for around £30m. His exit may help the Gunners to raise funds. The 24-year-old joined Arsenal’s youth ranks in 2007 and was once considered one of the brightest talents in the club’s academy.
