Summer signing Aaron Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United and quickly established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
He conceded only one goal in his last five games for the North London side and is currently away with the England team this month’s World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
Ramsdale hails Saka for his influence in his move to the North London club.
Ramsdale said: “Agent Saka. That’s what he says. He said the manager [Arteta] spoke to him a couple of times and thankfully he gave a good review of me.
“What a guy. He’s just happy. He’s just always happy. What a footballer as well. I’m very happy now he’s on my team at club level. When you come here and you’ve got the talent which we’ve got up top and Bukayo’s right in the mix of that. You just can’t help but smile when he’s mentioned or when he’s in the room.”
Bernd Leno is expected to leave Emirates by next summer after failing to keep a clean sheet this season.
