Yannick Carrasco has sent a very clear message to Arsenal and other possible suitors from all the way across the world in China.
“I would love to return to Europe. A lot of clubs were interested in me,’ Carrasco said after Belgium beat Cyprus on Sunday. ‘We tried to find a solution in January that would enable me to leave Dalian Yifang.
‘But I can understand the club’s thinking. They wanted me to stay. ‘I still feel OK in China. But I have lost my starting place in the Belgian national side.
‘This can happen with a team of their quality. ‘With the level of competition there will always be times when you don’t get to play a lot.’
Carrasco has been sidelined from the national team also recently after moving out of Europe but his time at Atletico Madrid was less than fun leaving the midfielder with no choice.
The player will be a brilliant addition for Arsenal who have two brilliant strikers and a number of playmakers but are lacking depth and quality in the wing department. Adding Carrasco to the team will definitely be a great help for the Gunners.
