Dani Ceballos is set to return to Arsenal on a loan spell.
The Real Madrid midfielder was sent out on loan to Arsenal last season where he had a successful spell with the Gunners. He won the FA Cup under Mikel Arteta and now wants to return to the club in North London.
Ceballos had a slow start to life in North London but the player eventually got into the string of things and became an important member of the club. He alongside Granit Xhaka formed an important midfield axis for Arsenal from which point, the Gunners got control and stability in their midfield.
Ceballos’ loan spell expired this summer and he went back to Real Madrid. It is being reported that the player has made his intentions clear to play for the Gunners in Spain.
Real offered him a loan spell in different clubs, but the player has now set his heart to return to play under Mikel Arteta! Arsenal are making significant additions to their squad this summer having already picked up Willian, and getting close to sealing the deal for Gabriel Magalhaes.
The player might be joined in midfield by Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar as well!
