Manchester City has reportedly rejected a £42.5m bid from Arsenal for Gabriel Jesus.
The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with Arsenal and he is likely to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer. Mikel Arteta considers him one of the primary targets to replace Alexandre Lacazette.
One fresh report claimed that the Cityzens would be willing to accept offers of £43m for Jesus. The Brazilian will be entering in the final year of his contract at the Etihad.
Meanwhile, Goal BR reports that the City have rejected a £42.5m offer from Arsenal for the forward and they will not entertain offers below their £51m valuations.
The report also adds that Brazil international is still unsure over a potential switch to Arsenal, as he would prefer to play for a club competing in the Champions League.
Jesus is also on the radar of Real Madrid and Chelsea while Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also in the race for the forward’s signature.
Jesus has recorded 95 goals and 46 assists in 236 appearances during a successful six-year spell with Man City.
