Previous Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin has stated that Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has no right as such to be a professional footballer.
“I don’t get what he’s expecting,” Dublin told Premier League Productions.
“If you don’t run around and you don’t contribute to your side at home, in the No 10 shirt, for Arsenal, and you’re getting paid whatever you’re getting paid, and you do this, you throw your gloves up in the air and kick them, I don’t know.
“Have you got to stay on because you’re not contributing?
“I don’t care how good you are, if you don’t run around, you don’t deserve to play as a professional footballer, if you don’t run around.”
“Everything that Arsenal displayed in that game is what all the punters expect of Arsenal now,” he added.
