Summer signing Fabio Vieira is similar to Man City’s Bernardo Silva.
The 22-year-old Portuguese playmaker has bagged six goals and 14 assists in 27 Primeira Liga appearances last season.
He is one of the four players signed by Arsenal in this summer window.
Vieira is still recovering from his foot injury and has not yet made an appearance in the pre-season games for Arsenal.
His Arsenal teammate Smith Rowe has compared him to Bernardo Silva who was one of the standout performers for Manchester City last term.
“He’s very similar [to Silva]. He’s a very good passer of the ball, his left foot is very good and he likes to create goals and score them himself,” Smith Rowe said to The Daily Mail.
“I’ve already played against him at international level, so I can’t speak highly enough of him, and the fans should be really excited.
“At the Euro Under-21s, they [Portugal] beat us 2-0 and he was unbelievable in that game.”
