According to TopSkillsSports UK, Arsenal player Ethan Nwaneri has reached a personal agreement with Bournemouth over a loan move for the second half of the season. The young wonder from Gunners was finally persuaded to sign a new long-term deal with the north London club despite being strongly linked to a transfer away from the Emirates Stadium in the summer.

The gifted playmaker has only made five appearances across all competitions this season as Mikel Arteta attempts to break the team’s trophy drought. As a result, Nwaneri is now seeking regular playing time elsewhere, with the Cherries surfacing as a potential destination.

After signing a new long-term deal with the team, Nwaneri—dubbed “a special and phenomenal talent”—had hoped to play more frequently this season. However, since Eberechi Eze joined the team, opportunities have become scarce.

Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Martin Odegaard have all been injured this season, yet the 18-year-old has only played for 267 minutes in the Premier League and Champions League combined, making only one start.

Bournemouth have reached loan agreement with Nwaneri

Forward Antoine Semenyo, who chose Man City despite intense interest from Manchester United and others in January, is expected to leave Bournemouth soon. It appears that they are eager to sign the young Arsenal player as a temporary solution while giving him a chance to grow and succeed.

Top Skills, a commentator for Sky Sports, claims that Bournemouth and the player have struck a personal agreement ahead of a January transfer, and Arsenal would be willing to let him go on loan until the end of the season.

It seems like Arsenal and Nwaneri may be in a situation where you don’t realise what you have until it’s gone. Unquestionably one of the greatest players in Europe, the playmaker can command a spot in the Gunners squad far more frequently than he is currently given the chance. Should he begin each week? No. However, there’s no reason he can’t start sometimes when Arteta rotates or enter games to have an impact.
