Arsenal winger Noni Madueke has emerged as a surprise transfer target for Juventus and Atletico Madrid after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
The 24-year-old has struggled to secure regular first-team football this season, prompting several major European clubs to monitor his situation closely.
According to the Telegraph, both Juventus and Atletico Madrid are tracking the England international, while additional Champions League clubs could enter the race should Arsenal make him available.
Madueke arrived in North London just over a year ago when Mikel Arteta sanctioned a £52 million move for the former Chelsea and PSV Eindhoven star.
The transfer raised eyebrows at the time, but Madueke responded by making 52 appearances across all competitions last season.
He played a significant role in Arsenal’s remarkable campaign, helping the Gunners reach the Champions League final and secure their first Premier League title in 22 years.
The winger also featured prominently for England at the World Cup, where the Three Lions finished third.
However, Madueke has found opportunities limited this term. He primarily deputised for Bukayo Saka last season, but forcing his way past the Arsenal captain remains a daunting challenge.
The emergence of teenage sensation Max Dowman has further complicated Madueke’s path to regular minutes.
Arsenal will hope to return to winning ways when domestic football resumes this weekend.
Arteta’s side surrendered their perfect start to the campaign following a shock 3-0 defeat at Brighton last month.
Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue remains optimistic about his old club’s title chances.
He told Live Football Tickets: “Arsenal are my team. This season is going to be very tough because there are so many good teams and good players.
But if Arsenal play the way they have been playing, I believe they can win the league. I would give them maybe a 75 per cent chance.”
With the January transfer window approaching, Madueke’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain as European giants circle.
