In an effort to hasten the development of teenage defender Myles Lewis-Skelly, Arsenal is allegedly considering sending him out on loan before the 2026–2027 campaign. Football Insider reports that the 19-year-old left-back may temporarily depart the Emirates Stadium due to a lack of regular first-team appearances in recent months.

Since January, Lewis-Skelly has only started one Premier League game, mostly as a result of increasing competition within Arsenal’s defence. He is still regarded by the team as one of its most potential academy graduates, but a loan transfer is being explored to make sure he gets useful senior experience.

Last season, Lewis-Skelly saw a breakthrough, making many outings that demonstrated his defensive prowess and poise with the ball. Supporters and the coaching staff praised his performances right away, and many predicted that he would be a long-term option in Arsenal’s defence. Lewis-Skelly’s possibilities have decreased as a result of their presence, pushing him down in the hierarchy.

Arsenal prepare to accept Myles Lewis-Skelly offer

Lewis-Skelly rose to prominence with the Gunners during the previous season, and in the fall, he made his first appearances for senior England. The 19-year-old is considered a tremendous prospect for the future at the Emirates Stadium, but this season he has been pushed to the periphery of the team due to their unwavering chase of the Premier League championship.

Due to the defender’s recent lack of playing time, Football Insider reported on Sunday that Arsenal could be prepared to accept an offer for him to go on loan before the upcoming season. Lewis-Skelly might be amenable to leaving Arsenal in the summer, according to Football Insider, as he looks for consistent playing time to support his growth.

The superstar signed a new long-term deal last summer that would keep him at his childhood team until the summer of 2030, but it’s becoming more and more probable that he’ll be out on loan next season. Whether they come with Arsenal or not in the near future, the players are eager to pursue further chances.
