Arsenal would be listening to offers for Eddie Nketiah.

The Gunners have been linked with a new striker in January who can contribute to more than 20 goals and help the club secure the Premier League title.

Ivan Toney has been identified as Arteta’s primary target even though he already has Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in the ranks.

Nkeitah has been used as a substitute when the Brazilian was unavailable and Mikel Arteta insists the former is a superior and important player in the squad.

But recent reports suggest Arsenal can sell the young forward to fund a move for a new forward in January.

Arsenal has slapped a £50 million price tag on the club academy graduate.

“There is speculation again about Eddie Nketiah’s future at Arsenal. Interest has always been there from 5-6 Premier League clubs and I’m told also Bundesliga clubs – it’s normal as Eddie is a very good striker,” Romano said.

“But Arsenal are still happy with Nketiah, there are currently no concrete or advanced negotiations, I think it could only change with a very important proposal, but at this stage, Arsenal are not desperate to sell Nketiah. At all.”
