Despite recent speculation linking him to top European clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, Romano made it clear that there is no chance of Saliba leaving the Emirates anytime soon.

Saliba, who recently signed a long-term contract in the summer of 2023, is reportedly very happy at Arsenal.

According to Romano’s latest update in his Daily Briefing, the 23-year-old sees his future firmly tied to Mikel Arteta’s project.

The centre-back has become a vital part of Arsenal’s squad since making his Premier League debut in 2022, quickly establishing himself as one of the best defenders in Europe.

His strong performances naturally drew attention from some of the continent’s biggest clubs, but Arsenal fans have nothing to fear.

Romano explained that while top clubs are bound to admire a player of Saliba’s quality, the interest is nothing more than a compliment.

“There is absolutely nothing going on with Saliba and any other club,” Romano stated, reinforcing that the Frenchman has never considered leaving.

He added that both Saliba and Arsenal are committed to continuing their journey together for the long term.

Saliba’s rise at Arsenal has been remarkable, especially after spending time on loan in France earlier in his career.

Now a cornerstone of Arteta’s defense, Saliba seems eager to continue his development under the Spaniard’s guidance, and fans can breathe easy knowing their star defender isn’t going anywhere.
