Fabrizio Romano Identifies Kingsley Coman as Arsenal’s Ideal Last-Minute Signing
As the summer transfer window draws to a close, Arsenal have already made some impressive additions to their squad, securing the likes of Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori.
Yet, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners might have one more trick up their sleeve a potential deal that could elevate their attacking options to the next level.
Speaking on the Men in Blazers podcast, Romano hinted that Arsenal could still make a significant signing before the window shuts, and he believes that Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman would be the perfect fit for the North London side.
Coman, a player who has won almost every trophy imaginable, including the World Cup and the Champions League, has emerged as a possible target for Arsenal.
Romano suggested that Coman’s versatility and experience could be exactly what Arsenal need, especially with their current lack of depth in wide areas.
“For Arsenal, Coman could be a perfect solution,” Romano stated.
“He has possibilities in Saudi Arabia and is on Barcelona’s list, but for Arsenal, he could fill the gap behind Bukayo Saka and bring a winners’ mentality to the squad.”
The French winger’s ability to play across the front line makes him an attractive option for manager Mikel Arteta, who is looking to build a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts this season.
Coman’s winning mentality, honed through years of success at both club and international levels, would be a valuable addition to a relatively young Arsenal side.
However, there’s a significant hurdle in the form of Coman’s salary. Currently on a substantial wage at Bayern Munich, Arsenal would need to negotiate carefully to make this deal financially viable.
Yet, if they can find a way to meet his demands, Coman could be the final piece of the puzzle for Arsenal.
As the clock ticks down, Arsenal fans will be watching closely to see if Romano’s insight proves true. If Arsenal manage to secure Coman’s signature, it could be the move that defines their season.
