However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now stepped in to clarify the situation, putting an end to the recent rumors.

In his Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside, Romano confirmed that, despite the ongoing buzz, there’s no substance behind the claims that PSG or Real Madrid have made moves for Saliba.

“There has been no approach from PSG, no proposal, no talks,” Romano wrote, adding that the French international is highly valued by Arsenal and remains a crucial part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.

With a contract running until 2027, Saliba is settled in North London, and Romano insists he’s very happy at the club.

The 22-year-old has been pivotal to Arsenal’s defensive solidity, and the club is keen to keep him at the heart of their backline.

Given his importance to the team, it’s no surprise that Arsenal is unwilling to entertain offers, even with rumored fees upwards of €120 million.

While PSG has been actively seeking young talent to bolster their defense, it appears Saliba won’t be on their radar anytime soon.

For now, Arsenal fans can rest easy knowing their star defender isn’t going anywhere.
