Four Premier League clubs target Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah

Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal is expected to leave the club this summer, with four Premier League clubs competing for his signature.

The 24-year-old forward, who is recognized for his capacity to score goals, is looking for regular playing time, and Arsenal appears to be willing to accommodate him.

Fulham leads the race, presumably willing to pay up to £30 million for Nketiah. With a strong track record for nurturing new talent, the Cottagers appear to be an appropriate destination for the striker who wants to relaunch his career.

Crystal Palace and Wolves are also considering signing Nketiah on a permanent basis, with both clubs seeing him as an important addition to their offensive options.

Everton, on the other hand, is trying a different strategy. The Toffees want a one-year loan agreement, possibly to assess Nketiah’s influence before committing to a permanent transfer. This scenario might offer the striker with the game time he seeks while affording Everton options.

Nketiah had 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2023/24 season, although only 13 of them were starts. Significantly, he has not started a game in 2024, with his last full 90-minute appearance coming against Fulham on December 31, 2023.

These limited minutes caused speculation about his future at Arsenal, with reports claiming Mikel Arteta may not see him as part of the club’s long-term plans.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Nketiah faces a crucial decision. Clubs are lining up, recognizing his potential and the goal-scoring prowess he brings.

For Nketiah, the move represents a chance to find consistent playing time and re-establish himself as a Premier League forward to watch.
